CHF Eels parents: here is the information about this weekend's second meet (June 4) at Finesilver Ranch (address: 30 Finesilver -- about a 20-minute drive). This will be a tri-meet (three teams) hosted by Finesilver, with CHF and Woods of Shavano as guests. I'll be happy to explain the tragic saga that has given us tri-meets this summer, if you want....

Here is the schedule for the meet:

6:45 – 7:05 am: Finesilver Ranch warm-up

7:05 – 7:25 am: Woods of Shavano warm-up

7:25 – 7:45 am: Castle Hills Forest warm-up

7:45 - 8:00 am: Stroke & Turn Judges meeting with Referee

7:45 – 8:00 am: Timers meeting with Head Timer

8:00 am: National Anthem and then we start the meet!

The bad news: it's a tri-meet (which means it will be longer than our first very brisk 2-1/4 hour meet), and it gets started really early. And Finesilver is in a completely different biome.

The good news: with 3 fairly small teams, this tri-meet should NOT last as long as the 5-hour Summerfield tri-meet two days ago. If we can get started by 8, I think we'll be out before noon.

I recommend people try to arrive between 7-7:15 to get set up before our 7:25 warmups. The volunteer sign-up page on swimtopia has been updated for the needs of this tri-meet. 

Finesilver will provide concessions.
