Happy Memorial Day Everybody!

Our first swim meet is this upcoming Saturday May 31. It will be against the Inwood Hollow Dolphins. I will be sending out a separate email about address, gate access, parking, warmup times, etc. 

For now, three things:

1. Please let Coach K know ASAP whether your swimmer(s) will be competing at the swim meet. Find her (and me) at practice this week. If you're shy about face-to-face parent-coach interactions, email Coach K at [email protected]. 
2. Please go to the team's Swimtopia webpage and confirm your swimmers status, i.e. 'Attending' or 'Not Attending', for Swim Meet #1 at Inwood Hollow. Click here for a shortcut to the swim meet signup. Confirming your swimmer's attendance is IMPORTANT, so please do that ASAP. Wednesday is your deadline. For all you parents that have already talked to me about meets you will be missing due to vacations, camps, etc. You can go ahead and confirm their status for those future meets now if you wish. 
3. Please sign up for a swim meet volunteer position. You can see the available positions by clicking the little green button that says "Job Signup" at the same place you confirmed attendance (see link above) for Swim Meet #1. We have a small (but mighty) team, so we need as many parents as possible involved in staffing these positions. Unsure what each position entails, see my attached PDF document for details. For all you first-timers, try volunteering for the 'Timer' or 'Ribbon Distributor' positions. These roles are low-stress and a great way to see how swim meets work. No prior training required. Notice that there are TWO shifts, both shifts need staffing.
